英国籍を持つイラン人2名が解放された。これには訳がある。つまり二国間の取引に使われたという記事だが、最後にちょろっと触れられているイランの核所有の背景を調べてみたけど難しいです(>_<)↓
第二次世界大戦終結後1968年に日本が署名した核拡散防止条約とは、核兵器を保有している5か国（アメリカ・旧ソ連・イギリス・フランス・中国）以外は、新たな核兵器の開発や保有の禁止。しかし、厳しい査察のもと、原子力発電は許可される。
この許可を利用したのがイランです。イランの核開発は、アメリカの主導により、平和の為を名目に行われたが、やがてイランが核兵器開発してることがバレていった。
イランに核開発の停止を要請したのに、イラン側はあくまで平和目的による核開発だよ！と言い張った。だから、イランに対して国際的な経済制裁を加えることとなった。
２０１８年トランプ大統領はイラン核合意（イランが濃縮ウラン装置などを削減するかわりに制裁を削減する）からの離脱を表明したのだ。 トランプ大統領は以前から”イランの武装を完全に解除するものではない”として核合意が気に入らなかった。
オバマ前大統領は、核合意は十分に機能しており、トランプの選択が大きな過ちであると発言したが、トランプ大統領は5月8日、イランの核開発に関する「共同包括行動計画（JCPOA）」から離脱し、この計画に基づき解除していたイランに対する経済制裁の再開を指示した。
しかし、現在、ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻でエネルギー価格が上昇し、産油国イランへの制裁が解除されれば、原油の供給が再開され価格上昇が抑えられる期待もある。

Two British citizens who had been jailed in Iran for more than five years — charity worker Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe and retired civil engineer Anoosheh Ashoori — have returned to the UK.
