中東では、更に緑が失われ砂漠化が進んでいる。そのため砂嵐が何度も起こる。砂と言っても細かいダストだから、容易に空気とともに器官に入りこむ。
目に見えない細菌も恐ろしいけど、吹き荒れる砂嵐も恐怖。これは、自然災害だけでなく人災の原因でもあるそうだ。
真剣に地球温暖化対策に取り組まないと、私たちは空気さえ吸えなくなる。

Middle East Hit By Severe Sandstorms
中東を痛烈な砂嵐が襲う
A sandstorm blanketed-覆う large parts of the Middle East on Monday, May 23. It was the latest in a series of almost back-to-back-連続的に sandstorms in the region.

Sandstorms are normal in late spring and summer, but this year they have happened nearly every week since March in Iraq.
