何とも悲惨な映画撮影中の事故の記事です。リハーサルでカメラに向かって銃を構えたところ、引き金を引いてないのに、実弾が発射してカメラを構えていた撮影監督は打たれその後死亡した。
彼女には9才の息子がいる。仕事で家にいない間も映画を撮影する母親を誇りに思い、寂しさに耐えていたはずだ。それが二度と彼の元へ帰らぬ人になってしまった。
その理由が、安全対策を怠ったから。銃を扱う以上、何十にも念には念をいれなければならないのに。
もう少し気を付けていれば失敗しなかったのにと思うことがある。
慣れは恐ろしい。小さいことから注意しないといけない。いずれ大きな事故となるから。
この映画撮影でも、銃の事故が起きていたのにかかわらず、それをうやむやにしてしまった為、こんな悲惨なことにつながってしまった。
最近起きた北海道の観光船の事故もそうだ。
いつか起きると思っていたとインタビューに答えていた人がいた。周りから、危険避けるため信号は送られていたのに聞く耳を持たなかった。
事故が起こる前に何かしら合図があるはず。多分神様か守護霊かご先祖様か。。。

Producers for the film Rust have been fined nearly $137,000 for safety failures 過失 on set, after actor and producer Alec Baldwin fatally shot the film's cinematographer 撮影監督.

On October 21, 2021, Baldwin was pointing a gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins while preparing to film a scene inside a small church on the movie set in New Mexico.

Baldwin told ABC News he was pointing the gun at Hutchins at her instruction指示 when it went off without him pulling the trigger, killing Hutchins and injuring the director, Joel Souza.

James Kenney, secretary of the Environment Department that deals with occupational safety, said the agency spent 1,500 hours on its investigation, examined hundreds of documents and did at least a dozen interviews with cast and crew members.

この映画のプロダクションは調査結果・罰金額に納得しなかったのでこの先も論争が続くだろう。
