25年ほど前、タイのサムイ島へ行った。デカプリオ主演の”The Beach"で撮影場所になった島。メインはピピ島でしたが。
そのころは、プーケットほど名が知れ渡ってなく、観光客はほぼイタリア人。そのため、イタリアンレストランが多く、本物のイタリアンをお安く堪能できました。
モデルのようなイタリア人たちが、ビーチで回し飲みしてたのは、マリファナでしょうね。
もともと、タイではマリファナ栽培が違法だろうが何だろうが構わず行われていて、それ目当ての外国人観光客も多かったのではないでしょうか。
その島ではくわえたばこの子供を見ましたが、あれは何を吸っていたのかな？
1世帯6本までの大麻の苗木の栽培が許されるといっても、誰が数えるのかしら？
自然に株は増えていきます。
タイらしいおおらかなルールだこと。喫煙に関しては厳しいのに。タバコのパッケージは肺がんの写真でした。
タバコはだめで、マリファナはOKなんですね？？？？？

Thailand Becomes First in Asia to Decriminalize Marijuana
タイ、アジア初のマリファナ公認
Thailand has made it legal for people to have and grow marijuana at home, with plans to give 1 million seedlings ‐苗木 to households across the country.
タイでは、マリファナの所持と家で栽培を法的に認めたー全国の世帯に百万本の苗木を与える計画がある。
The decision（by the Food and Drug Administration） to remove all of the plants from the banned narcotics nɑːkˈɔtɪk‐ 麻酔薬 list /makes Thailand the first nation in Asia to decriminalize‐違法ではなくする marijuana.
今まで禁止していた全ての植物を麻酔薬リストから排除するという決定を、食品医薬品局が下したため、タイが、マリファナが違法ではなくなったアジア初の国となる。
But it is not following the examples of Uruguay and Canada, the only two countries so far that have legalized recreational marijuana on a national basis.
