The husband of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, died on April 9, 2021, aged 99.
"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh," Buckingham Palace said.
「女王陛下は、悲しみと共に、愛する夫、エディンバラ公爵フィリップ王配の死を知らせた」とバッキンガム皇室は言った。
＊Born June 10, 1921 into the Greek and Danish royal families, Philip was known for promoting British industry and science, leading hundreds of charities, and playing an important role in raising his four children, including his eldest son, Prince Charles, who is heir to the British throne.
